Jelonet Ointment Gauze Swab is a sterile paraffin tulle gras dressing designed to soothe and protect wounds. It is made from specially woven, wide mesh netting that minimizes fraying, even when cut to shape. The soft paraffin base provides a non-reactive and soothing layer that rarely causes allergies and does not interact with other topical preparations such as local antiseptics. This makes Jelonet ideal for use with a variety of topical medications. It is particularly suitable for treating minor burns, ulcers, and skin loss wounds. Each gauze swab is individually packaged to ensure sterility and hygiene. The dressing allows free passage of exudate, helping to keep the wound environment optimal for healing. However, it is recommended that Jelonet should not be left on a wound for more than three days to avoid any adverse effects.
